Oh guys~
Today has been a real exciting day (mmm, maybe i meant yesterday since it's already 1am now). Currently felt that life's ten times buzzier after all those killer exams and projects. Mmm...
Anyway, i had a great time at Changi Airport today, attending the Let's Smile Orientation Programme though there was a slight kok-up in the morning due to the word "casual". It was fun nonetheless though i thought it was going to be a pain in the ass since it's like TRAINING (sounds not at all fun). Trainer Hafez is a very professional and engaging speaker and he has conducted such an enjoyable experience for all of us (i believe).
Yup, it was very well spaced out with breaks at 10+, 12+ and 3+. Time passes pretty fast with such an arrangement. And we ended early! I learnt something... always tell participants a later ending time so that at the end of the day, they will still be happy having to leave slightly earlier. You got what i mean?
I think it's a very practical programme in a way that yes, the very basic step to providing excellent service would be SMILING.
Mmm, not forgetting my group which consists of all ZI JI REN ('coz we know each other) called ourselves the Goh Hock Kwee (The scary Mr Goh). Hilarious~ Oh snacks and beverage provided was very tasty and refreshing as well. I seriously was super pleased.
We learnt basically SMILE - Smile (sincerely), Motivated, Interested, Listen, Extra Mile. Also, ways to handle suspcious character/items, lost & found, emergency situation, etc. We had some ice breakers, discussions on airport in general, amazing race and role play. Kinda fun~ It was interesting and partially because everyone's really enthusiastic!
Training ended at 4.30pm and Rich came to pick me up! He wanted to surprise me but it was spoilt when the training ended so early! Actually, i kind of guessed it 'coz he asked me too many questions and refused to answer my one simple question - "Are you dismissed?".
Still super appreciate it! FREE RIDE HOME LEH! HA HA HA!!
Mmm, went to Rich's place for dinner after sending weishan back. Spent a little while at his place... and Darren was... so cute wearing his school uniform! I don't know why my brother doesn't seem as cute as him when wearing uniform probably 'coz my brother's look oversized while for darren... either it fits nicely or it's undersized? Looks so small!
Rich sent me to TECC for meeting and... yes, i was late. Mmm, oops! I HAVE NOT ATTENDED ANY MEETING SINCE I-DON'T-KNOW WHEN? But i still enjoyed myself... was pretty distracted by my mobile phone during the meeting 'coz it left only one bar of battery. And when it died, my heart just sank. Sigh... Yeah, cannot message my... baby. HAHAHA! Anyway, he should sleep early so probably that's why my phone battery died.
Wooooo~ Look forward to end of meeting 'coz it's supper session! AWESOME!!! I BLOOODY LOVE LISTENING TO STORIES!!!! HEHEHEHE~ MISS DA YEC PEEPS YA-KNOW! BEAR AND BAMBOO AND BER~~ All the Bs~
I really love listening to stories! And then, bamboo walked me home! THANKS MISTER BAMBOO AND BEAR FOR THE ENTERTAINING STORIES! I REALLY MISS DA OLD TIMES!!! GOSHHHHHH~ x)
